Ravands Private Rides LLC (“Ravands Private Rides,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit our website, book rides, communicate with us (including by text/SMS/MMS), or otherwise use our services.

1) Scope
This Policy applies to information we collect through:
- Our websites, web forms, chat widgets, and any mobile experiences we provide;
- Phone calls, emails, and text/SMS/MMS messaging programs;
- In-vehicle/ride operations and dispatching systems; and
- Our social media pages and advertising interactions that link to this Policy.
This Policy does not apply to third-party sites, services, or platforms that we do not control.
2) Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide
- Contact & identifiers: name, phone number, email, mailing/billing address.
- Ride/booking details: pickup & drop-off locations, dates/times, passenger count, special requests.
- Payment information: cardholder name, payment method, and transaction details (processed via PCI-compliant processors; we do not store full card numbers).
- Business/affiliate data: company name, job title, event/concierge references.
- Communications: messages you send us (including SMS replies) and call notes.
- Preferences & consents: marketing preferences, opt-in/opt-out records, and signatures where applicable.
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Device/usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies & similar tech: session cookies for core functionality, analytics cookies to understand use, and preference cookies to remember choices. See Section 10.
c) Sensitive or Precise Data
We generally do not seek sensitive personal data. Location data is used only as needed to provide ride services (e.g., to plan routes or complete a trip).
3) How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, schedule, dispatch, and complete rides and related services;
- Confirm bookings, send trip updates, receipts, and customer support messages;
- Authenticate users and maintain safety, security, and fraud prevention;
- Process payments and manage accounts and invoices;
- Operate, analyze, and improve our websites, apps, and operations;
- Send marketing communications (only with your consent where required), and personalize offers; and
- Comply with law, enforce terms, and protect our rights and customers.
Legal bases where required (e.g., EU/UK): performance of a contract, legitimate interests (service improvement, security), consent (marketing/SMS), and legal obligations.
4) How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers/partners who help us operate (dispatch platforms, drivers/affiliates, payment processors, SMS providers such as carriers and messaging platforms), under contracts requiring confidentiality and use only for our instructions;
- Business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets);
- Legal/safety: to comply with law, court order, or lawful requests, and to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by certain U.S. state laws.
Carrier-required disclosure for messaging:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5) SMS/MMS Messaging Program (A2P 10DLC)
We use text messages to support ride operations and (if you opt in) marketing.
Program Description
- Transactional messages (service): booking confirmations, driver/vehicle details, ETA updates, receipts, and customer support.
- Promotional messages (optional): special offers, news, and service announcements—sent only if you separately opt in.
Opt-In
- You may opt in by submitting a form that lists your mobile number, by checking a consent box, by replying with an opt-in keyword, or by giving consent during a call or chat that is recorded in our system. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opt-Out
- Reply STOP to end all non-mandatory texts from that program/number.

- Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
A2P Compliance
- We register our use cases and sender IDs under A2P 10DLC and follow CTIA and carrier policies. We block prohibited content and honor opt-out requests promptly.
6) Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law (e.g., tax, accounting, dispute resolution). Typical periods:
- Booking & ride records: up to 7 years after the ride or last activity;
- Payment/transaction records: per financial/legal requirements;
- Marketing/SMS consent records: while active and for a reasonable period after opt-out to demonstrate compliance;
- Website logs/analytics: typically 6–24 months.
When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information per our data retention schedule.
7) Your Privacy Choices
Communications
- SMS/MMS: Reply STOP to opt out; HELP for help.
- Email marketing: Use the unsubscribe link or contact us.
- Cookies: See Section 10 for controls.
Access, Correction, Deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state (e.g., CA, CO, CT, UT, VA, and others that may apply), you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use caution when sharing information.
